Driveway Installation

Concrete driveway installation is a multi-step process. Step one is to clear the ground surface of grass and weeds. To guarantee that the driveway is placed on a strong foundation, the ground may need to be leveled. After the ground has been properly prepared, step two is to add wood supports in the desired driveway location. Step 3 is when a 4-inch thick layer of gravel is laid down. Step 4 is to compact the area before placing steel and other reinforcing materials throughout the area. The fifth and final step is pouring wet concrete into the wooden structure and smoothing out the surface.
